"Shooting for the Cure" A Team Shoot Out
for Cancer Research. All Proceeds go to
James Graham Brown Cancer
Center.
This year's Shoot
Out is the Sixth year for the event, it promises to be one of the best
in the State with most of the 16 teams rated in the top 25 of the state. A roster of the teams includes the following:
Assumption; Franklin County; Bullitt East; Owensboro Senior; Sacred Heart
Academy; Mason County; Henry Clay; Dupont Manual; Lexington Christian
Academy; Christian County; Louisville Butler; Boone County; Louisville
Mercy; Scott County; Christian County; Central Hardin.
The will also include
many of the top players in Kentucky as follows: Whitney Hanley; Janae
Howard; De'Sarae Howard; Lacey Cline; Avery Jones; Anna Martin; Sara Beth
Barnette; Tia Gibbs; Kara Pile; Madison
Webb. All of these players are College Prospects, most are
Division 1 prospects with many already either signed or committed to play
at the Division 1 next year or in the future.
Many of
the players either have offers, signed or are being courted and will be
playing with some of the following UNIVERSITIES: University Of
Kentucky; Western Kentucky
University; Morehead State
University; Middle
Tennessee State;
Vanderbilt;
Dayton;
Georgia;
St Louis University;
Murray State University;
Eastern Kentucky University; Belmont
University; Bellarmine University;
Northern Kentucky;
Cincinnati, and others.

also have a lot of Silent Auction and Raffle Items some of which are
signed Basketballs from: Magic Johnson; Dr. J; Pat
Summitt; Rick Pitino; Mickie Demoss; Mary Cowles; Larry
Inman; David Smith; Tony Cross; Footballs signed by Brian
Brohm; Rich Brooks and others. For the Country and Western fans we are working on
obtaining "Vince Gill's" signature on a basketball as well as
some other Celebrates! Also dinners at upscale restaurants and overnight
stays at various hotels and more!
